Pathways
RMIT is able to provide students with educational pathways towards further qualifications. Students can commence their pre-university studies in foundation studies and diplomas, to obtain credit for the work they have completed, before moving on to a higher education program.
Research capability
RMIT University has established four Research Institutes that represent areas of research excellence and scale. These institutes are as follows: RMIT Global Cities Research Institute, RMIT Health Innovations Research Institute, RMIT Platform Technologies Research Institute, and RMIT Design Research Institute. The university also has five dedicated research centres and is a participant in eight Cooperative Research Centres (CRCs).
