Academic Calendar
In addition to semester 1 and 2 intake, another intake for some courses is available for international students during winter. Depending on course availability, this can enable students to complete the academic requirements of their course at a faster rate and enter the workforce sooner.

CAMPUS LOCATION

The University of Canberra is set in a unique environment. The 120 hectare campus is a haven of clean air, tall trees and native vegetation, with many different birds, including white cockatoos and resident kangaroos.
The campus is located about 10 minutes by bus and car from the city centre and within 5 minutes of the lakeside town of Belconnen, where there is a shopping mall, fresh food markets, cinema, restaurants and facilities such as the Australian Institute of Sport, Canberra International Sports and Aquatic Centre, Canberra Stadium and Calvary Hospital. The nearby Lake Ginninderra also offers many parks, walking and cycling trails.
With the University situated in the national capital of Australia, Canberra is a vibrant, multicultural city that is safe and easy to get around. Canberra is located about 3 hours from Sydney and 2 hours from the coast and ski fields.
