Campus location
The University of Canberra is set in a unique environment. The 120 hectare campus is a haven of clean air, tall trees and native vegetation, with many different birds, including white cockatoos and resident kangaroos.
The campus is located about 10 minutes by bus and car from the city centre and within 5 minutes of the lakeside town of Belconnen, where there is a shopping mall, fresh food markets, cinema, restaurants and many facilities. There’s also a modern sport and aquatic centre nearby with the latest swimming and gymnasium facilities. The nearby Lake Ginninderra offers many parks, walking and cycling trails.
With the University situated in the national capital of Australia, Canberra is a vibrant, multicultural city that is safe and easy to get around.
