Location and accommodation
UTS offers two unique campuses. Our City campus is in the heart of Sydney, close to major transport links. Our purpose built campus in the bushland setting of Kuring-gai is just 30 minutes from the city, and is serviced by a convenient and free shuttle bus or public transport. All of Sydney's main attractions are just a short stroll or bus or train ride away from the city campus, making UTS the perfect university from which to experience Sydney and Australia.
UTS is surrounded by popular student suburbs such as Surry Hills, Glebe and Newtown. The majority of UTS’s international students choose to live in private accommodation in and around the city, often sharing with other students. Some students however, choose to live in a number of UTS student residences located only minutes from the City campus. UTS Housing Service can assist in finding and organising suitable temporary, private or University accommodation for new students.
